GDRC CSR Activities:
The CSR activities we pursue will be in line with our stated Vision and Mission, focused not just around our offices, but also in other geographies based on the needs of the communities.
Primary Education is our main focus area.
We believe that the future saviors of our country are today sitting on school benches. It is our desire to spot such talent and support them in all possible ways to lead the nation.
We promote primary education especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled by way of:
- Supporting schools with infrastructure like benches, toilets, potable water, fans etc.
- Improving educational facilities in general.
- Supporting children for higher education.
- Non-formal education programs.
- Supporting other educational institutions.
In addition to primary education, the Company has identified the following areas for Community Development intervention:
- Promoting health care including preventive health care through awareness programs, health check-ups, provision of medicine & treatment facilities , providing pre natal & post natal healthcare facilities, prevention of female foeticide through awareness creation, program for preventing diseases and building immunity.
- Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutritionthrough provision of food, nutrition supplement, clothes, promoting sanitation, make available safe drinking water etc for the poor, children and other deprived sections of the society.
- Ensuring environmental sustainability and ecological balance through Plantation drives in schools, villages, and other areas in general. Creating awareness on promoting alternate energy resources and conservation of natural resources.
- Other activities such as promotion of sports, welfare for differently disabled people and such other activities as the Board may consider to be appropriate for our stated Vision and Mission.
GDRC CSR Committee:
The CSR Committee currently consist of the following directors:
- Mr. Graham Lilley
- Mr. Brahmaiah Vunnam
- Mr. Harinatha Reddy Gorla
This policy is effective from 1st April 2014.
GDRC CSR Governance:
We will strive to implement the aforesaid CSR activities on our own to the extent possible. However, we may collaborate with various organizations, which are registered as a Trust or a section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013 or a Society or NGOs or any other form of entity incorporated in India that specialize in the aforesaid activities (OR) we may Contribute to various funds which are aligned with our Vision and Mission.
GDRC CSR Funding:
The corpus for the purpose of carrying on the aforesaid activities would include the followings:
- 2% of the average Net Profit made by the Company during immediately preceding three Financial Years.

Any income arising there from.
- Surplus arising out of CSR activities carried out by the company and such surplus will not be part of business profit of the company.
GDRC CSR Selection process:
The CSR Committee/its panel of experts will evaluate various proposals received in accordance with its CSR Policy and prioritize those proposals by assessing their impact.
